Christmas!

This means the end of year corporate booze-ups, office parties and work lunches are just round the corner. When you work on your own, it means the Christmas Do for Cardiff(ish) Entrepreneurs and Freelancers!

Christmas Do? Yes. Last year Claire organised the Cardiff So(u)lopreneurs Christmas Lunch Thing. This year, we’re collectively unimpressed with the menus on offer in town and so I am experimenting with a new format of Christmas Do.

Cardiff(ish)? Indeed. If you live and work in or near Cardiff, you are welcome. Even if you live far from Cardiff actually, you’re very welcome. It’s taking place in Cardiff, though.

Entrepreneurs and Freelancers? Ahoy there! Also: solopreneurs, so(u)lopreneurs, “soultrepreneurs”, work-at-homers, and also anyone with yearnings to be self-employed even if you’re not there yet.

Come and rejoice with the rest of us independent, passionate, resilient, inspired and inspiring, a little bit (a lot!) obsessed, like-minded people... we are *your* crowd!

Details:

When: from 2:00pm on Friday December 16th 2011 – until late. Come and stay for all of it, or drop in whenever you fancy for as long as you please.

What: a Festive Spread will be on all afternoon and until the end. This will be home made and will include delicious vegetarian options. J Please specifiy any dietary requirements beyond the veggie/carnivore options by CLICKING HERE AND DROPPING ME A LINE NOW. 

Where: at the BeAmazingToday headquarters, in Splott (= the large kitchen and office-stroke-living-room at 15 Janet Street).

Attention please: PRE-BOOKING ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL BY 13TH DECEMBER 1:00PM! Your £6.00 will go in the food shopping kitty: I’ll take care of putting on the spread. You're in charge of bringing your drink of choice!

Transport: there is ample (free and unrestricted) parking on Janet Street and neighbouring streets. Buses 11, 12 and 13 come from the city centre and drop you at the junction of Splott Road and Carlisle Street, which is less than 5 minutes’ walk away. Shout with any other queries.

Dress code: no ties (unless tied around your head ninja-style). Anything else goes.

Also: Other Halves are welcome to come and hang out and partake in the Xmas fun, even if they're not themselves freelancers, because they're supporting your self-employdness, right? Just make sure to book them in also. :)
